Advanced Lift Truck Training Part of New and Updated Safety Courses
You want to retain your frontline employees, but the reality is, the longer they work the frontline, the more likely it is they’ll be injured on the job. We want to help you beat the odds and protect your workers from injury, and this is driving our 2025 expansion and update of our Workplace Safety library. This latest round of updates includes 6 new courses with 3 of them offering advanced training for lift truck drivers. We also updated 5 existing courses.
Lift Truck Safety Training Focus
Lift trucks have the potential to injure the driver or other workers and damage your goods and facility. This is why it’s especially important to train the operators of these vehicles, so they do their important jobs without causing issues. We’re excited to introduce our “Advanced” series of 3 courses that elevate this training. In addition, we’ve updated our two existing lift truck safety courses.

New Courses
- Lift Trucks Advanced: Pre-Operation Inspections – UEM403
- Lift Trucks Advanced: Basic Operations – UEM404
- Lift Trucks Advanced: Load Handling and Stability – UEM405
Updated Courses
- Lift Truck Safety Awareness – UEM13
- Lift Truck Safety Awareness: REFRESHER – UEM63
Covering More Worker Safety Issues
The longer a worker is in a specific job, the bigger the impact of bad ergonomics. Back injuries and hazards from electricity are other risks you want your workers to avoid on the job. We’ve updated the courses on these topics using storytelling to help your learners remember the lessons, and we use scenario-based questions, so they practice in training before experiencing the situation in real life. We’ve made it easy for you to renew this training by adding 3 new refresher courses on these topics. New and updated courses are shown below.

New Courses
- Ergonomics: REFRESHER – UEM050
- Back Injury Prevention: REFRESHER – UEM057
- Electrical Safety: REFRESHER – UEM053
Updated Courses
- Ergonomics – UEM10
- Back Injury Prevention – UEM7
- Electrical Safety – UEM3
All these courses are available in English, Spanish, and Canadian French, and you can use them for both group training in Alchemy Player and with eLearning in Alchemy Manager. We encourage you to get a look at the new courses and introduce them to your workers via learning plans. You might also take a look at the updated courses, so you’re familiar with the latest content your learners will experience.
