New Training Courses Help with Poultry Biosecurity
Intertek Alchemy is privileged to work with many poultry companies, and we know diseases, such as Avian Influenza, are real threats to your organization. Intertek Alchemy has developed 5 new poultry biosecurity courses to train your workforce on important biosecurity concepts to help mitigate the threat of avian illness.

By educating workers that handle live birds on poultry illnesses and ways they can help stop outbreaks, you’ll improve your chances of controlling costs and keeping your flocks healthy. These courses use storytelling and scenario-based questions to engage your learners and help them understand and correctly apply the knowledge. Below are the 5 new courses available in the Animal Welfare library:
- Poultry Biosecurity: Illness Introduction – UDM231
- Poultry Biosecurity: Lines of Separation – UDM232
- Poultry Biosecurity: Cleaning and Maintenance – UDM233
- Poultry Biosecurity: Outside Contact – UDM234
- Poultry Biosecurity: Pest Control – UDM235
Additionally, there’s a new course in the Food Safety library – Egg Safety: Handling and Transportation (UDM208). You can use all 6 for group training and eLearning, and all are available in English, Spanish, and Canadian French to help you easily train more people in the language they best understand.
As we plan upcoming course releases for later this year, we invite you to help shape the Alchemy roadmap by sharing your ideas and feedback with us at [email protected].
