New Training Courses for Maintenance in Manufacturing Plants
Plant maintenance is critical for peak facility performance, making a skilled, readily available team essential. Following the late 2025 launch of our initial six foundational courses, we are expanding this series with six new courses.
This expanded library helps your team to meet production demands by delivering practical, immediately applicable skills that support safer, more reliable operations.

While the introductory focus makes these courses ideal for new technicians, the curriculum is valuable for all frontline workers. By promoting a culture where maintenance is everyone’s responsibility, you can increase engagement and help drive more consistent, efficient operations.
These new courses cover core systems found across most plants:
- Bearings, Belts, and Conveyors: An Introduction to Maintenance – UMM111
- Motors and Pumps: An Introduction to Maintenance – UMM104
- Pneumatic Systems: An Introduction to Maintenance – UMM101
- Hydraulic Systems: An Introduction to Maintenance – UMM106
- Plumbing Systems: An Introduction to Maintenance – UMM102
- Maintenance: Everyone’s Responsibility – UMM105
These courses are available in your Alchemy Catalog in English, Spanish, and Canadian French. Train multiple employees simultaneously through group-based training or assign targeted learning through eLearning. We encourage you to review the courses in Alchemy Manager and incorporate them into your 2026 training programs.

This is just the beginning. We will continue to expand this library to further strengthen maintenance capabilities, with planned courses covering industrial lubrication, pump systems, electronics, and more.
