Updated Training for Food Safety in Warehouses

By Product Management Team |

In our efforts to enhance our Warehouse library this year, we’ve updated dozens of existing courses and added more than ten new ones. We’re happy to report that with this final update we have completed the work!

This round of course updates focuses on maintaining food safety as products move through the warehouse and into distribution. Supply chains consist of a mix of environments which introduce risk that training and following established procedures can help minimize. Our updates to the courses bring in the latest thinking on processes and practices in the warehouse. You’ll see in the 7 updated courses below that all but one have a title adjustment.

Retiring Courses
As we review an entire library of courses, we strive to streamline and simplify as much as possible, so your training is more efficient. This sometimes leads us to retire courses, and we have 11 warehouse courses that we’ll be retiring on Wednesday, November 13th, all listed below.

We’ll notify you via email as the retirement date gets closer. For child-level courses, you don’t need to do anything. But for parent-level courses – the first six in the table above – you’ll need to replace the courses in Learning Plans, and we’ve suggested an appropriate alternate course. You also have the options of having all workers complete the Learning Plans or downloading any course into Alchemy Creator before 11/13 and turning it into a company-specific course which you can then add into the Learning Plan as a replacement.

This full-library update is a great example of how Intertek Alchemy listens to your feedback and works to keep your training content fresh and consistent with modern practices. We want to work on the things that bring the most value to our clients. We know what you value when you send your ideas, requests, and comments to productfeedback@alchemysystems.com.
