In the competitive food industry, quality is as big as in any industry, and if your company sets standards, meeting them is important. Quality needs to be on the minds of all workers to maximize success, not just the professionals with “quality” in their titles. Intertek Alchemy has moved to help you by introducing 5 new quality courses designed for frontline workers and specific to the food industry.

Knowing this is a key area for our clients, we’ve created a new category in our course catalog named “Quality,” and we will be adding more courses into this category later this year and beyond.

Clients guided us in prioritizing the first courses we released and, given the fact that mislabeling is a primary reason for recalls, we start with two courses under this topic. Providing common workers with insights into traceability and statistical process control will advance these organizational efforts and may foster ideas from unexpected sources.

These are the five new quality courses available:

• Label Claims – UAMQUA006
• Statistical Process Control: Overview – UAMQUA008
• Traceability: Introduction – UAMQUA009

These courses are available to all clients for group-based training and eLearning and are part of the standard catalog. They are available in English, Spanish, and Canadian French or with a combination of two languages by using sub-titles.
